Serving Others
Throughout the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John we see Jesus showing care and concern for the physical needs of people. We see examples of Him healing the sick (Matthew 8:1-17; Mark 6:53-56), feeding people (John 6:1-13; Mark 8:1-9), teaching (Matthew 5 – 7), and showing compassion to those who were hurting (John 8:1-11; 11:30-36). Just as Jesus showed care and concern for the physical needs of people, so FBC Lynn Haven does as well. Here is a brief list of various ministries:
- We have a need-based food pantry at our church.
- We support the Panama City Rescue Mission (corner of 6th Street and Allen Ave.).
- We support the Baptist Center (123 Kraft Ave.).
- We offer spiritual counseling with the pastoral staff.
- We offer counseling referrals.
