The Children's Ministry of Fist Baptist Church of Lynn Haven is committed to serving children in the 1st - 5th grades and their families. Our desire is to provide quality, fun experiences for children, that will encourage meaningful relationships with peers, teachers, parents, and especially God. We invite you and your child to participate in the many programs offered on Sunday's and Wednesday evenings as well as any of our special events. We want to provide a place where parents can bring their children so they will be loved, cared for, and taught about God's love for them. We want to partner with families in the spiritual growth of their children, in order to build strong families who love and serve their Lord - Jesus Christ.

The Children's Ministry encourages all parents to join us in leading our children to Jesus. We hope that each of you will prayerfully consider helping in one of our preschool ministries.

Children's Ministries

Sunday School is an age-graded Bible study time where a central Bible truth is communicated through small and large group activities. Scripture is memorized and the Bible truth is applied to the child's life.

Kid's Praise Time is children's church. Children begin in our Morning Worship service and after "children's time" in the auditorium, they are dismissed to Kids Praise Time. During this time children are taught either a Bible story taught at their level, or are taught a life principle taken from the Bible and applied to their lives. This time also is filled with music for the kids to sing praises to their Lord.

Children's Choir teaches children about worshipping God through music and offers active participation in worships services through songs and performances. The children begin in our Evening Worship service and then are dismissed out for choir.

AWANA is an evangelistic club for boys and girls whose purpose is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. Club meetings consist of game time, handbook time and council time.

Special Events are planned throughout the year for the children and their families. Our children get excited about Vacation Bible School, 4th of July Block Party, Children's Harvest Party, Happy Birthday Jesus Party, and many other special events throughout the year.
